Each file is opened by hand and read by our advisory council of practising artists and curators. Please take your time — a thoughtful submission tells us far more than a long one. We reply, without exception, within four weeks. There is no application fee.

Twelve places are held each season, for residencies of two to four weeks. We select for the seriousness of a body of work, not the length of a résumé — and we want to understand who you are and what you intend to make while you are here. Share a portfolio, a website or an Instagram account: whichever platform holds your work best.

If you intend to apply for a public or foundation grant to cover your stay, tell us. We gladly provide an official letter of acceptance where your funder requires one.
